Rabbit Trapping

One thing I remember of many years ago was that I use to go out rabbit trapping at the back of the Bundaleer Forest and one year, there was that many rabbits, I had to kick them out of they way to set the traps.

There's not much danger of that now, it just about makes headlines in the local paper if you see a rabbit these days.

Actually you might be surprised at the number of rabbits (real ones)that are around both in Jamestown and nearby. Take a drive some evenings and have a look. I quite often see some around the Community School and along the creek.

There is a small resident population (of rabbits) living in the cemetery too I believe. There are plenty of scratchings there and piles of do do's
