Yes, a little birdy has told me that Adminer has just about completed the preparations for a Photo Gallery to be installed on the jamestownevents site.
Here's a quick peep inside. The first time you use the Gallery, you will be required to re-register, but once you have done this you will be able to tick the "Remember Me" box for instant access thereafter. It is probably easiest if you use the same registration details as you have for the forum.
To see what's new, click "New Images" shown above outlined in red.
You may save your favourite images to your own private "Lightbox" and download them if you wish.
The historical photos provided by the Jamestown Local History Group are watermarked and reduced in size, as they normally sell these to cover costs and raise a little money to support themselves.
The JLHG has generously offered a reduced price (20% off) to jamestownevents members for prints, the prices being $2 for A5 sized, and $2.50 for A4 sized prints with no added cost for colour where available. Post and Packaging is extra. This has not been costed as yet but should be about a $1, multiple orders, no extra P+P. All photos will be unwatermarked, High resolution computer prints on Glossy 230 gsm photopaper.
There is a list of all photos available in the General Discussion thread, under School Class Photos.
The JLHG is always looking for new photos if you should have any that we do not. They are unable to pay for them, but will gladly send donors a free copy of any other print in their archive in place of payment.

Ahhh,.... so the truth comes out. An' here wuz me, just about to form my very own fan club. You've broken my heart, not to mention crippled my future income. An' por ole Adminer,... he's very delicate in this regard, he's prolly slashed his wrists by now.
