"I'm Bored"

As I pointed out in the post explaining How to upload photos to Jamestown Events, it is often necessary to resize your photos to avoid them running off the side of the page, and/or taking excessive time to upload and display.

I generally work on the filesize to keep my photos both, on the page, and reasonably quick to load. I like my file size generally to be less than 100Kb. You may check this size by Right Clicking on the file and clicking Properties in the menu which appears.

Seen here right at the bottom.

To achieve this there is a nice  free utility available called PixResizer at: http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm

There are many available, try them and find one that suits your needs.
