"I'm Bored"

« on: 11 November, 2011, 09:49:47 AM »

I was informed last night by Dykey of the sad passing of his eldest sister "Aggie"  aged 79 years 11 months.  The second death in the Davis Family in five weeks.

"Aggie", as she was known by all, was born 30th Nov 1930, to well known Jamestown identities, Walter and Agnes Davis (nee Starr) both deceased.

She was bought up in Jamestown but has lived in Adelaide all her married life.

My most deepest and most sincere condolences to the Davis and Ince families.

Dyke,

So sorry to hear the loss of both your Sisters.

I worked with Dot in the late 70s and we had some great times, Dot was one of the best.
I had been sending her messages through Maggie and sent her a couple of cards, Great lady she will be sadly missed.

Both of your Sisters hold a place in my heart Dyke, 10 years ago when I had cancer Aggie came to the Mount to visit me I was so surprised as I had not seen her since I was a kid.   When I opened the door I recognised the face straight away, Aggie came back a number of times and supported me through one of the worst times in my life she was a great comfort to me. She often rang me until she felt I was okay. God Bless her.

Give my Love to the Family.xxxxxxxx  Cry
