One of the many things we have missed moving from the Mid North, is the old fashioned service with a smile we recieved.
You just don't get that personal touch here in Adelaide from business'...well, rarely.
Tell me, do you still get your petrol pumped by the Klingners at the petrol station? SO not heard of anywhere anymore!
And what about getting your groceries carried out to your car by the friendly staff at the supermarket? That just doesn't happen here.
I will admit though, when we were living at Happy Valley, the local Foodland staff DID occasionally help you out to your car with an umbrella if it's raining.
There's just something about small towns..
Oh, and you'd NEVER/EVER get an "account" at a supermarket like we did at United!
