Nooooo your not being cheeky,

It's great to have some one else to comment on these clips,  I get these visions of that era and have a laugh to myself, what it all looked like, what clothing they had on, how did they do it and so on.  I've been lucky to have Mr. Information and his vast knowledge.
Keep your comments coming, I have more to come. Please........... I get lonely talking to myself.

To see some differences in clothing, I only have to think back to my own primary school years, I can remember kids coming to school in winter wearing leather helmets similar to those seen on aviators in WWI, also lace up boots and in one or two cases, jodhpurs. Black rubber raincoats and sou' wester hats were also common on rainy days.

I wonder what kids would think of it today?

Well, I know that I am safe Di, it was just a bit early for me, but I dunno about some of your ancestors. I reckon that there would have been some colourful characters amongst them.

Well Ray,

I think I have found the culprit to all this Larrakism in Jamestown in the Early days, I checked on my Great Great grandfather in those days and he was a Police Constable at Spalding, so he was probably busy trying to catch them.
BUT....... I recon it was some distant rellies of you know who, he has admitted to being a bit of a larrikan to me and things do run in the Family. Cool    So they say. Tongue

I just had a quick squint back along your family tree Di. I had no difficulty finding some characters that I would say were capable of a bit of larrikinism.

I personally know of a couple in the present generation in and around Jamestown that would have been in anything at all, only a few years ago......??
