Attended Phil Redden's funeral today.  It was huge. The Church and Hall were overflowing with many people standing both inside and outside of both.
However, I was a bit disgusted at the number of non-funeral attendees, who didn't have the decency to stop and let the funeral procession have "right" of way.  Many, including a local petrol tanker, just expected to be let into the line or just cross through.  This bugs me!
I have noticed this at several funerals lately, especially in the main street where cars just keep going as though everything is normal.
Anyone agree with me.

I don't know how I missed this when you posted it Susie, but I must say that I certainly agree.

I am not usually not very fussed about matters of formality, but funerals would be an exception.

Well the City has caught up with Jamestown, much to my horror.
Yes it is the sign of the times, it has been happening in the Mount for years I get so mad when I go to a funeral and everyone cuts in.
I always make comment, this would never happen in Jamestown, can't say that anymore can I .
Yes Suzie I agree with you, makes you wonder whats ahead of us when people can not respect the life and death of another human.
