Sorry if this is in the wrong area... I can't seem to find that section for putting links to websites.

Anyway, here is a link to "Jamestown South Australia" on Facebook. http://www.facebook.com/jamestown.southaustralia?ref=nf

I dunno how I missed this. Old Timer's Disease I guess.

I'm not really very fussed about Facebook. Too many people have altogether too much info on there about their private lives, and this seems to attract the "bad guys" who manage to bypass any security and harvest peoples details.

There have already been several examples of this, and knowing that, "Anything man can make, man can break" I have no doubts whatsoever that it's still going on.

People seem to think that because their account has a password that any info is safe. For anyone who looks about in the right places you soon find out that there are far more password cracking scripts than there are places that use them.

If you use Facebook, I'd say, make sure that you have the bare minimum of personal details on there.

Here's something to make us all think a little before putting too much info on YouTube

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=5aa_1300835410

I don't see myself as being a very valuable target for the CIAs information gathering exploits, however, I find the fact that someone is able to gather it and sift through disturbing to say the least. The far greater worry being that if they can do it, there are no doubt plenty more that can do it for even less desireable reasons.

I guess that now I've compromised my secrecy, I might have to fill my page with so much drivel that it will crash their computers.

OMG... You're on Facebook?!  Add meeeeeeeeeee!!!!   Grin

I don't have much of a problem with security. For one, I don't use my real name. And two, I have my security settings SO high, not even I can see myself sometimes...  Undecided
