I realise that this State Government & Local Councils have other priorities (e.g. the State Government are building a desalination plant when re-cycling of stormwater would produce much more fresh water at far cheaper cost - without destroying our fishing industry), but I am shocked at the state of the Jamestown to Clare Road.

Back in the early 1970's, the road was just as shitfull as it is now - little has changed.  It's about time we made this road an issue worthy of protest - in my opinion it is an accident waiting to happen.

The following is based on my association withe the construction and maintenance of roads:

This road is a State funded road and has to compete with all other State roads.
With in the State Road classification, the road is classed as a "Arterial -Class 3 Road" (as I remember it).

So What you ask!
Well again those State Funds have to go through another "toss-up" to be divided amongst the same classes of roads.

I could keep going but it's simply down to the "Locals" to keep screaming to their Local MP's about the road.

REMEMBER: The road is north of Gepps Cross and doesn't attract any political interest.
